FEES AND ENROLMENT

Pre-training Review

Pre-Training Review includes a documented review of:

  • copy of student handbook and outline of training program
  • the appropriateness of the course and AQF level
  • student’s prior learning, skills and experience that may result in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT)
  • Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to identify student’s language, literacy and numeracy skills to determine future support needs

Enrolment

  • Ethical marketing ensures appropriate skills and ability of students to complete studies.
  • Pre-enrolment information in website – course descriptions, entry requirements, course outlines, and information about the institute, faculty, and support services.
  • Information sessions and open houses at campuses – pre-requisites, entry requirements, eligibility requirements, special needs & disability support and future pathways.
  • Student acknowledgment (electronic checkbox on the website and signed documentation) of aspects as follows: Refund policy, Code of conduct, Complaints procedure, Appeals procedure, Assessment guidelines, Student welfare and support services and Credit Policy.
